How is this product installed?

Five easy steps: (1) clean top of the mailbox (alcohol wipe included), (2) drill a 7/32” hole in the top about 6” back from the front, (3) remove the rechargeable battery isolator strip and adhesive backing, (4) place the light over the hole and press down, and (5) remove the protective clear covering from the solar panel.

How long does it continue to illuminate the inside of the mailbox?

The rechargeable battery inside is designed to last 4 to 5 years, however in reality will keep performing to specifications much longer than that.

Will it work during all seasons and in all weather?

Yes, however during extended periods where there is little to no sunlight during the day, the number of hours your mailbox will remain lit during the night may be reduced. However, after one normal sunny day the battery will be fully charged and return to normal (nearly 100% night time lighting) operation.
