Does it work year round?
Yes, in most conditions. Two things to know:
- If snow builds up on the solar panel, brush it off to restore charging.
- During winter months or extended cloudy periods, shorter daylight hours may reduce how long the light stays on at night.
How many hours during the night does it illuminate the inside of the mailbox?
The product is designed to provide constant illumination throughout the night time hours, regardless of the season or time of year.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes, the product is resistant to moisture and water intrusion.
What is the temperature operating range?
Best performance is between 32°F and 113°F, which covers most U.S. climates year round. In extreme cold (below -4°F) or extreme heat (above 122°F), charging and illumination may be reduced.
Will it blind me when I open the mailbox?
No. The light is directed downward and calibrated to illuminate the inside of your mailbox — bright enough to see clearly, not bright enough to be blinding.
Can I buy replacement parts or batteries easily?
Yes. It takes a standard rechargeable battery available at most hardware stores and online.
Will it obstruct mail?
No. The product is specifically designed to provide no hindrances to mail.
Does it have magnets that will harm credit cards?
No. There are no magnets in this product.
Is maintenance required?
No. The solar panel recharges itself every day — no batteries to replace, no bulbs to swap, nothing to adjust.
Warranty/Return policy
Manufacturer warrants this product to be free for one (1) year against any defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship.
The manufacturer shall promptly correct such defects by repair or replacement, at its option.
This warranty covers only product defects and shall expire one year after the date of purchase by the original purchaser.
Proof of Purchase (Sales Receipt) is required.
