No. The product is specifically designed to provide no hindrances to mail.
Does the solar mailbox light work year round?
Yes, the product will illuminate the inside of the mailbox year round, regardless of the weather with three caveats:
- If snow accumulates on top of the product it must be cleared off to maximize solar power collection.
- During the winter months when daylight hours are shorter
- During periods of multiple sequential cloudy or rainy days with minimal sunlight - the duration of internal illumination during the night will be shortened, such that it may not last throughout the night until the following morning.
